Katie, RVT
Registered Veterinary Technologist

Katie was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta. She has worked in the veterinary field since 2019, and graduated from the Animal Health Technology program at NAIT in 2022. She joined the Currents team after completing her practicum here. 

From a young age, Katie always had a big love for animals. As a kid, her family never owned any pets other than an aquarium with lots of fish and aquatic frogs. Katie’s pup, Mila, is her first dog. She rescued Mila in 2019 and the two of them have been inseparable ever since. 

Outside of work, Katie does competitive cheerleading which she’s participated in since she was 11 years old. She also enjoys spending time with her family, friends and travelling whenever possible. Katie is so excited to be a part of the Currents’ team and getting to know all of our clients and their pets.
